Where to get help.

Whilst in the Joomla! system itself there are two ways of accessing help.

The first is via the Help button on the Menu Bar at the top of the screen. It is available at all times except when directely creating and/or editing an Item of any description within the Back-end.

The second is the Help icon on every individual screen that you open within the Back-end. Many (not all) of these point to a specific page within the Help Portal. Originally, these screens were also available within the core files which meant that there use was available even when offline. This feature has had to be removed whilst the screens are all updated and it is hoped to release a patch, for those that want it, in the not too distant future.

In addition, there is an abundance of Help available within the Joomla! web portals. The main sources are:

How to ask for help.

How to search the Forums.
